Course Description

This course covers business transaction cycles, system diagramming, and internal control objectives, procedures, and governance. Students will review database fundamentals and explore how computerized systems support business decisions. The focus will be on building competency in accounting automation tools like Alteryx to streamline financial processes. This course requires software that runs only on Windows-based (PC) computers and is not compatible with macOS. Students using a Mac will need access to a Windows environment (e.g., campus lab computers or virtualization software).
