Overview

The Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Business Intelligence Engineering prepares students to design, analyze, and operationalize data systems that support organizational decision-making. The program integrates programming, statistics, database design, data modeling, and applied artificial intelligence to develop practical, workforce-ready skills for modern data-driven environments.

Students build foundational programming and quantitative competencies while gaining applied experience in data warehousing, data pipelines, visualization, and AI-enabled workflows. Coursework emphasizes ethical data practices, cybersecurity fundamentals, and collaborative communication, preparing graduates to support responsible and effective use of data and intelligent technologies within organizations.

Through hands-on projects and immersive learning experiences, students learn to manage structured data, develop dashboards and reporting solutions, and assist in the deployment and maintenance of AI-supported systems. Graduates are prepared to contribute to analytics, data operations, and AI system support teams and may continue their education in bachelor-level programs in Business Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or related fields.
