Course Description
In this capstone course, students will expand on their previous coursework to read, interpret, and analyze financial statements for decision-making purposes. Decisions include assessing a company's performance, identifying risks, and determining business valuation. A key component of this course will be ratio analysis, an essential tool for understanding a company's financial health. Students will learn to apply various financial ratios to evaluate profitability, liquidity, efficiency, and solvency, as well as forecast future cash flows using a range of analytical techniques and models.
