- Meet with Academic Advisor and create a Graduation Plan (Milestone)
- Take the ALEKS Math Placement Exam. If required, take math prerequisites (Milestone)
- Meet with Career Mentor to prepare for internship search (Milestone)
- Apply/Network for internship jobs (Milestone)
- If applicable, apply for large-company internship positions early. Visit the Internship Coordinator at Career and Internship Services for more information (Milestone)

NCIDQ (National Council for Interior Design Qualification) requires candidates to have completed a minimum of 60 interior design specific credits. The AAS degree provides 52 credits. Students wanting to complete this certification can reach this requirement by replacing their final semester with this course map.
